MY VISION

I understand firsthand the challenges facing ACA students from all backgrounds. Having experienced exam failure and the anxiety it brings, I am committed to being a genuine voice for all students on ICAEW's ultimate governing body.

Proven track record | Trusted advocate | Results-driven change

The Problem

Many ACA students face consistent challenges that aren't being adequately addressed:

  • Inconsistent support during training contract periods
  • High stress levels leading to exam struggles and anxiety
  • Talent loss as qualified individuals leave the profession
  • Lack of representation at ICAEW's highest governance levels

My Solution

As your Council Chair, I will implement concrete measures to address these issues:

  • Establish a dedicated rapid response team for students facing dismissal
  • Develop a comprehensive mental health framework tailored to ACA students
  • Create formal channels for student input on qualification frameworks
  • Ensure student perspectives directly influence ICAEW's strategic decisions
