I understand firsthand the challenges facing ACA students from all backgrounds. Having experienced exam failure and the anxiety it brings, I am committed to being a genuine voice for all students on ICAEW's ultimate governing body.

The Problem
Many ACA students face consistent challenges that aren't being adequately addressed:
- Inconsistent support during training contract periods
- High stress levels leading to exam struggles and anxiety
- Talent loss as qualified individuals leave the profession
- Lack of representation at ICAEW's highest governance levels
My Solution
As your Council Chair, I will implement concrete measures to address these issues:
- Establish a dedicated rapid response team for students facing dismissal
- Develop a comprehensive mental health framework tailored to ACA students
- Create formal channels for student input on qualification frameworks
- Ensure student perspectives directly influence ICAEW's strategic decisions

- Organise at least one national networking opportunity annually
